The P.C. Lunch Bunch

April 11th, 2017 | Park City Community

Park City is known for its eclectic citizenry that is inclusive of everyone no matter their background, financial status, or goals in life. But, there are a few things we all share in common: 1. We work hard; 2. We play harder; and, 3. WE LOVE GOOD FOOD! So avid is our passion for great food that at the bottom of every mountain is an abundance of restaurants and cafe’s that range from Asian fusion to classic American cuisine. Lunch is one of CMFH’s favorite places to do business, so we thought we’d let you in on three of our favorite lunch hot-spots.

20 CC’s Of Doctor Deliciousness, Stat!
Hospital food isn’t usually equated with epicurean delights, but The Silver King Cafe located in the Park City hospital has flipped that stereotype on its head! Offering healthy, locally sourced food, and an ever-changing menu, the Park City Hospital is a locals-approved cure for hunger. “The Silver King Cafe has given me a reason to look forward to going to a hospital!” said Steve Chin. “Their lunch specials are always so creative and the pizzas are as healthy as they are delicious.”

Bagel & Burger
Wasatch Bagel and Grill has been serving locals and tourists alike since 1996. Open from 6:00am to 10:00pm, the menu covers everything from breakfast at dawn to dinner at dusk. Start your day with a bagel and schmere, take a client you REALLY want to impress to get one of their famous burgers for lunch, and take their authentic southern fried chicken home for dinner. “It’s been such staple of our community for so long that I can’t imagine Park City without Wasatch Bagel and Grill.” Suzanne Harris. Beyond their prime burgers and top tier bagels, the offer refreshing salads, delicious wraps and everything else in between.

Hidden Treasure
Tucked away in the heart of the Deer Valley neighborhood is the Deer Valley Grocery Cafe. This hidden gem of PC serves the high quality cuisine that Deer Valley is world famous for. A brief glance at the menu (which changes seasonally) let’s you know you’re in for something special. Oyster Mushrooms turn their grilled cheese sandwich in to a meal you’ll be dreaming about for days. The Shrimp Tacos or Butternut Squash Enchiladas are anything but typical Mexican fair. Or, try something you’ve never even heard of: Skillet Baked Juustoleipa made with creminelli prosciutto, apple fig chutney, fresh arugula, cornichons, pickled onions, and housemade baguette – to die for! Dining on their deck overlooking the pond, surrounded by mountains, it is a beautiful spot to enjoy a leisurely lunch.

“With such breathtaking views and amazing food, it isn’t hard to see why the Deer Valley Grocery Cafe is one of our favorite places in Park City,” Dena Fleming.
