Steve Chin, CPA, CRS
"I love this town…the people, the mountains, the weather… But what I really get a kick out of is selling real estate here. I meet great people in an environment where everyone feels happy. My clients are my friends. We laugh and joke around so the process is fun. I'm committed to the real estate community here and respect the way things have evolved in Park City. The land, the animals, the arts are important to me, but the people are what really count. Always action. Always growing. Always opportunity."
-Steve Chin, CPA, CRS
A California native, Steve Chin moved to Park City in 1975 after graduating from Cal Poly-Pomona and working as a CPA for the real estate accounting firm Kenneth, Leventhal & Co. He did anything he could to support his skiing habit, including working as a bellman and night auditor. Eventually, Steve came to own a property management company in Park City, overseeing 300-plus condominiums. His real estate tax background proved invaluable in the industry, and he was a natural to enter the real estate field. Steve's life is focused on his two sons, Josh and Cam, both graduated from college, and his wonderful wife, Val. Steve's family also includes his dogs, Niki and Mandella and his African Grey parrot, Thurber. He continues to enjoy skiing and wine tasting and he loves to dance.
Steve is actively involved with various community organizations, including the Park City Rotary Club, Friends of the Animals, The Egyptian Theatre and Utah Open Lands.
