Leon and Tracy Palandjian

Scott Vultaggio is a remarkable real estate buyer broker, easily the best among several with whom I have worked. I can offer a perspective by following the various steps of the process that Scott led us through, including market research, making an offer, and closing a transaction. My wife and I, after several vacations in Park City, decided we would like to seek a second home. We did not know exactly what we wanted, for example house vs condo, or specifically which of the several different neighborhoods surrounding Parking City. We were introduced to Scott through a mutual friend, and he immediately began to help us understand the different characters of the various neighborhoods around Park City. He has lived in the area and worked with clients for decades, and is an absolute wealth of knowledge. Next, we began to look at specific listings that appealed to us for one reason or another, and forward them to Scott. He used this information to schedule several days of appointments to visit the properties physically, and we flew in from our home town. Scott picked us up in the morning, and dropped us off at the end of the day, and shared his encyclopedic knowledge of the area throughout. He organized all the listings within a notebook so we could take notes and retain the information. When you spend all day in a car with someone, you really figure out whether you like them! Scott is so personable and professional, the chemistry was amazing. In fact, after a whole day in the car, we voluntarily scheduled dinner with him! The process enabled us to focus on three properties, and Scott really hustled to schedule second and third viewings (including one at sunset), so we could flesh out our interest before flying home to the east coast. Once we were ready to make an offer, Scott gave us very wise advice on key deal terms and how to structure and present our offer. It took us several weeks to reach an agreement with the seller and the deal would have died were it not for Scott’s experience and advice. Ultimately we were thrilled to reach an agreement. Being from out-of-town, we needed some help finding service providers to close the purchase, and of course Scott had us covered. Fast forward a month, and we have spent two weeks in our dream get-a-way in Deer Valley and begun to create new memories and experiences. Scott helped us start from scratch and identify the perfect fit, then consummate the deal. We probably exchanged several hundred emails and text messages during the process. Scott never once failed to follow up on even the smallest or most stupid question. Furthermore, his response time was typically immediate, and almost never took more than an hour. He was literally there for us 24/7. When we requested a third visit to a property hours before leaving for the airport, he made it happen. It can be tricky working with husband and wife, who have stylistic differences and sometimes differences of opinion. Scott was very intuitive about knowing when to give my wife and I space to talk or process information, and how to navigate dealing with us individually and as a couple, taking a holistic view of “the client.” Finally, Scott is a fierce protector of the buyer, a true fiduciary. In summary, Scott has decades of experience, he literally is like the local mayor, and he brings to bear a high degree of emotional intelligence, which in our case was instrumental in finding the right fit, and closing the deal. His follow up and attention to detail are second to none (and believe me we are demanding!). Scott thrives on human relationships and has a passion for connecting buyers with their dreams, in turn making him masterful at his “work.”
