All 15 Utah ski resorts are open as of this week and Sundance has a few new improvements to unveil as the 2021-22 season gets underway. Opening Wednesday, Dec. 22, the wheels will officially turn for guests on the Outlaw Express, a new high-speed quad with access to Mandan Summit, and the resort will celebrate with a DJ, churros and prizes. Other improvements include a new beginner area with three magic carpets, expanded snowmaking facilities and the debut of The Lookout restaurant — reinvented from the original Creekside Café — featuring sweeping views of the majestic Mount Timpanogos and tasty modern BBQ that’s perfect for a casual meal at the base.
