As Park City grows, it’s important to us that we keep the small town atmosphere growing right along with it. The days when we knew everyone by name may be gone, but not the commitment to building strong friendships and supportive community organizations. While Country Clubs in most areas are considered exclusive guilds for the mega-wealthy, Park City’s two Country Clubs are just like our town – open and welcoming to everyone.

Park Meadows Country Club
Last week we took a tour of the newly remodeled Park Meadows Country Club. Because it focuses on local, full-time residences, its ambiance is quite different from those organizations that are associated with resorts or private communities. Membership requires no real-estate ownership and focuses on being a social hub for the whole family. The newly remodeled clubhouse is opening next month, and has taken the members’ benefits to whole new level. The remodel includes a brand new fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, plus a yoga/Pilates room. Their Jack Nicklaus signature course is immaculately maintained and tee times are readily available with four-hour rounds being the norm. When the snow flies, there are weekly group outings for skiers of all ages and ability levels. In winter the golf course is groomed with cross-country, snow shoe and skate skiing trails. In their dining room members enjoy award-winning gourmet cuisine with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. “Park Meadows Country Club was established twenty years ago, long before we became an international vacation destination,” said Ann MacQuoid. “I love that it still represents and caters to the fact that Park City is a community first and a world renowned resort second.”

Jeremy Ranch Country Club
Jeremy Ranch Golf & Country Club enjoys one of the most picturesque settings in the Park City area and is open to everyone. Recently they completely restructured their golf membership packages to offer easier affordability with membership dues starting from as little as $279 per month! Members have unlimited access to the Arnold Palmer Signature Design course. Further, members enjoy reciprocal agreements with nine other Utah courses that give you benefits there as well. The dining room, Grille Bar and Pier Bar provide the perfect setting for an intimate dinner for two, as well as casual dining for family and friends. The Club organizes and promotes a number of social events held throughout the year to promote new and old friendships, families spending time together, and charitable community giving.

Never forgetting who we are
We want Park City to remain the eclectic, diverse community it has always been – a place where all backgrounds and income levels are respected and included. We at Chin-MacQuoid-Fleming-Harris believe that a well-rounded community that works together to preserve access to everyone will keep Park City moving forward as the place we love to call home. We’re grateful that our Country Clubs reflect these values too.
