How Many Lifts are at Park City and Deer Valley?
As the largest ski resort in the United States, the combined skiable area of Park City and Deer Valley offers over 340 runs. These are accessed by 43 lifts at Park City Mountain Resort and 31 lifts at Deer Valley Resort for a total of 47 lifts combined, as of summer 2026. With Deer Valley’s expansion, we will likely see that number grow.

Our Favorite Park City and Deer Valley Ski Lifts
Lady Morgan Express | Deer Valley
This fast, four-person lift is Cameron’s favorite in the winter. It gets you to Empire Pass, which is where you’ll find excellent skiing, deep powder, cliffs, and glades for tree skiing. This is a private lift, so it’s not busy, although several developments have access. If you’re looking for an early start and a couple of hours of fresh powder all to yourself, the Lady Morgan Express is the way to go.

Silver Star | Park City
Jacquelyn’s favorite lift in Park City is Silver Star. This lift is located away from the base of the mountain, resulting in shorter lines and a more intimate feel. It gets you up the mountain quickly, and once you’re up, you can access other lifts readily. Although parking at this lift is limited, the Park City bus can drop you off at the base on Three Kings Drive for easy access. Silver Star is not open in the summer.
Old Town Lift | Park City
Starting directly on Main Street, the Old Town Lift is popular with people who live in Old Town. It’s a fair bit busier than some of the other lifts on this list, with the ride taking about 10-15 minutes. At the same time, this is an iconic Park City lift connecting historic Old Town to the mountain. The Old Town Lift is operational in both winter and summer.

The Mountaineer Express | Deer Valley
Serving Deer Crest, the Mountaineer Express is a smaller lift that is known for its speed. The lift starts just below the St. Regis and connects skiers to other popular lifts like the Burns Express. Mountaineer is so fast that dedicated skiers could do six runs or more in an hour, according to Cam!

Silver Lake and Sterling Express | Deer Valley
Both of these lifts operate in the winter and summer, taking riders up Bald Mountain and providing easy access to Deer Valley East Village. We love these lifts in the summer for hiking, but both lifts also offer lift-served mountain biking. The Silver Lake Express brings riders to Silver Lake Village, which is home to amazing amenities including iconic aprés ski spots. The Sterling Express, takes riders from Silver Lake Village to the top of Bald Mountain.
East Village Gondola | Deer Valley
One of the newer lifts on this list, the East Village Gondola offers the type of luxury and convenience we are beginning to associate with Deer Valley East Village. The 10-passenger gondola offers heated seats and floor-to-ceiling windows. As of summer 2026, this lift is only open in the winter, but summer access is undoubtedly coming soon. Developers at Deer Valley East Village are already cutting summer trails.
